• Athens CC is a private country club not open to the public.  Use of the club (dining areas, golf course and practice facilities and the pool) is for Athens Country Club members and thier guests only.  Any other play must be approved by the Golf Professional.
• The club uses an app called Clubster to communicate with its members.  Check your email for an invitation to join Clubster.  You must download the app to your phone so you are aware of what the members are seeing for upcoming events and specials.

• Golf Members do not pay a green fee to play golf.  Social and Dining Members are allowed to play three rounds of golf per year, and they do pay a green fee each time.
• Members may bring guests to play golf.  Any one person may play golf at ACC three times per year.  This does not mean they may three times with John, three times with Joe and three times with Jim.  They may play golf as a guest only three times.  The pro shop staff is responsible for monitoring this.
• Golf cart rentals are not green fees; cart fees are paid when a player uses a golf cart while playing golf.
• Golf cart rentals are charged per seat.  $11 per person per nine holes.  Example: If only one player is using one golf cart for nine holes, that player is charged $11.  If two players are sharing one golf cart for nine holes, each player is charged $11.
• Some members own thier own golf cart.  They are charged $5 per seat.  See the how to video Checking in Private Cart Owner.  
• If a enough golf carts are available, members may use them at no charge to drive to the practice range.
• Players coming off of 9 Green have the right-of-way to 10 Tee before players beginning their rounds on 1 Tee.

Employee Benefits

As employees we are not entitled to full use of the club like the members; use of the restaurant, pool and golf facilities are off limits unless approved by a Board Member, General Manager, Director of Golf Operations or Front of House Manager.

P. U. D. Orders

The professional staff at Athens Country Club has many opportunities for ordering product at the personal use discount.  Please do not abuse this privilege.

Playing Privileges

As part of the professional golf staff, we are given the opportunity to play when our schedules and course availability permits.   When finished with your round, golf carts must be cleaned and stowed for the night.  Do not be the last golf cart coming in off the golf course.

Employee play is allowed during these tee-times with the approval of the Head Golf Professional.

Saturday 3:00PM – 6:00PM

Sunday   3:00PM – 6:00PM

Playing Golf with Members

You are welcome to play with members only if you are invited.  Do not ask members if you may play with them or their group.  Playing with members is by invitation only.

Practice Privileges

During down times, the practice facility is available for your use during scheduled hours of operation.  Remember, Athens Country Club is a member’s club, so stay low key while practicing.  When through practicing, clean up after yourself.

Socializing with Members

You are welcome to socialize/dine with members only if you are invited.  Do not ask members if you may socialize/dine with them or their group.  Socializing or dining with members is by invitation only.

Employee Meal Program

Employees are welcome to a 50% discount on the lunch menu items while clocked in for work at the club.  You may place a carryout order at the 50% discount at the end of your shift only if you did not eat during the shift.  The restaurant and bar areas are for members only.  Employees are to eat their meals in the pro shop or in the card room if it is not being used.
